Wind generation complements solar by producing energy when the sun doesn't — in the evening, overnight, and during overcast conditions. For industrial off-takers with 24-hour load profiles, a combined wind-solar portfolio reduces residual grid dependence significantly.
South Africa's Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, and KwaZulu-Natal coastline offer some of the strongest onshore wind resources on the continent. We are developing wind capability to complement our existing solar pipeline and offer hybrid generation solutions to off-takers.
